Dr. Liu Hang is a Research Fellow at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and also jointly appointed as Adjunct Research Fellow at Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

His research has been focused on developing biocompatible scaffolds for 3D cell culture to build retinal disease models and transplants for possible treatments. He is an enthusiastic and highly motivated biomaterial researcher with multi-disciplinary research experience, skilled laboratory techniques, and teaching experience.
Research Interests
Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, natural products, scaffold-based 3D cell culture, 3D bioprinting, nutraceuticals, and plant-based proteins.
